 now, your first issue is you're trying to turn-fight an albatros with a spad -- that won't work

 the spad is a fast, slashing fighter. you cannot get in turn fights with it, and live

 the second issue is that you're staying on the deck with your spad - height (altitude) is your friend - without it, you'll be forced into a turning fight and you already know how that works out
